Richview Family Dentistry recently travelled to Gatlinburg for a full-team training hosted by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. The two-day course, entitled Periodontics for the Entire Dental Team, examined periodontal medicine from risk factors to treatments. Along with the training session, the gang enjoyed their time together in the Smokies, as evidenced by their hijinks in this picture:

Ingredients
1 bag frozen stir fry vegetables
Powdered garlic to taste (NOT garlic salt)
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 tablespoon olive oil
7 ounces reduced sodium chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can black beans (drained)
1 (15 ounce) can yellow hominy (drained)
3 tablespoons lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
One bag brown rice (boil in a bag)
Directions
Sauté frozen stir fry vegetables, garlic, thyme, & allspice in oil. Add chicken broth, beans, and hominy; heat to boiling. Stir in lime juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper; serve over rice.
